Now I’m usually one to sing iTunes praises, but as of the recent 7.6 update, I can’t sync anything, play anything or download podcasts because iTunes hangs every 10 seconds. Calls to Apple got me advice on how to downgrade to iTunes 7.5 (on windows, the irony is horrible) and not a lot of advice. The Apple support articles are FULL of people complaining about this update, and it doesn’t look to stop there. People who use Adobe products are complaining about the latest quicktime update (and its DRM scheme) because it has broken quicktime resources needed to get the apps to work. This looks like a rushed update to coincide with the Macworld keynote.
