Newsgator, makers of NetNewsWire have released it as free, as of its latest release  (3.1). Not only have Newsgator allowed unfettered access to their app, but also their online service as well, which is a pretty nice add-on if you’ve got more than one mac. 

I’ve found that NetNewsWire has been the best mac RSS reader for some time now, beating out all of the competition mainly thanks to its minimalist UI and its keyboard navigation just works (as any mac-oriented app should).
