Apple today unveiled it’s latest server computer, now with 8 cores as standard. Maximum storage space has been increased as has the base graphics ability, this means the standard xserve will now be able to drive a 23″ Apple cinema display with ease with it’s onboard GPU.
The real treat was the Mac Pro update, with 8 cores as standard, 4tb of storage, 32gb of ram. It can outperform the old model on power consumption as well, thanks to Intel’s latest penryn chipset.
