A group called Devil Mountain Systems has claimed that Windows XP service pack 3 is somewhere in the range of 10% faster than service pack 2, even calling it a “must-have update”. Vista, on the other hand, looks to be covered with more DRM or something because it’s not getting any quicker. XP seems a lot nicer to end users than vista right now, so it’s pretty obvious why people are getting out of the market for windows PC’s and going for something nicer, a Mac or even the Asus’ Eee PC.
