10.03Zune 2 outed, still nobody cares.
Even J Allard looks less than impressed with the new Zune, Bill just looks like he’s nervous as usual, because there’s a camera stealing his soul. The new zune gets rid of it’s predecessors faux clickwheel and replaces it with another, oddly clickwheel-esque button, this time, it’s touch sensitive. The screen has gotten bigger, albeit with the same crummy QVGA resolution as the old one. The Zune also managed to shave 30% off it’s waist, saying that, the old 30gb version is way bigger than my 80gb 5.5G iPod, which means it’s still massive compared to a similar capacity of iPod from the new line.
Bottom line: It’s still a response to Apple’s iPod, nothing revolutionary and nothing special to look at.
