Coming out on December 1st, this 1,000,000:1 brightness, 3mm thick TV has to be the thinnest and brightest commercially available.

At only 11 inches diagonal, it’s not exactly massive, and with a resolution of only 960×540, it’s not going to replace the 46″ sharp 1080p screen in my lounge, but for the people who have to get 1st gen tech, then it’s great. The price on it is  ¥200,000, about $1,740 or £850. Hopefully this is the start of many a good thing to come. I’d like to see when this matures.
