Tomorrow, Apple inc. is hosting a press event at moscone west, a major announcement is likely, thanks to the amount of press that will be there, as there will probably be around 2000 people attending, mainly from the media

The rumor is new iPods and more iTunes content, a widescreen iPod and Fat Nano are doing the rounds on all the rumor mill sites. Ringtones are another angle people are seeing for iTunes to go in, because it would be a great bargaining tool for apple against the record industry and it’d be perfect for the iPhone.

My predictions for the event

• widescreen, or iPhone-esque screen for video on the full sized iPods, up to 120gb. wifi optional, but could be cool.
• iphone app sdk, just because i think it’d be cool and nobody’s talked about the chance of that
• new nano, same screen as the current 5.5G iPod, 4,8,16gb sizes.
• increased storage on the shuffle, 2gb, same design, same price.
• Ringtones, obviously

Here’s hoping I’m not too far off the mark.
