For £3.99 a month, from the first of October the Cloud (the same people who are in on the free wifi for iPhone deal) are offering a contract to use their service uncapped. 7,500 hotspots are available to join on it, including most airports and a number of pubs near me.
Today, i noticed that the internet was going slow, so i phoned up AOL (my service provider). They kindly informed me that even though I’m on an UNLIMITED package, that “unlimited” doesn’t mean unlimited, it means “unlimited up to 60gb a month, then we’ll slow you right down so you hate us”.

There’s not really much news on how this happened, but demonoid.com has been unresponsive since early yesterday. Everyone seems to be going on what a Dutch news site (nu.nl) is reporting, as it seems to have maybe more information than the rest of us. Microsoft continues to act like a monopoly: blocking .Mac users from their Windows live service, I had to change my login from my .Mac to one for this domain.
